About Me:

In the 90's I had a fun show on Free Radio Santa Cruz called
"Essence of Venus:  An Eclectic Mix of Morning Delights"

FUNfortunately, this is how I get my dj kicks these days...

When I created this channel, it was my Melanie C shrine! (( luv huh ))

It quickly became a second music collection then morphed
into my own online radio station.  Yay!  I always wanted one!

I tend to lean towards fun dancie stuff. I grew up sailing the US East Coast,
Bahama's and Caribbean.  Workin the docks by day and playing bongos
with the legendary Vivian & The Merry Makers Steel Band by night.

As a result, I've come to think of my self as a "carnival spirit".
I love celebrational, uplifting, happy music!
I like downer stuff too so welcome to my eclectic musical mind.

I'm also in a legendary queer pArty band called Frootie Flavors  www.frootieflavors.com
We've been doin our thing in Santa Cruz and the San Francisco Bay Area for the past

13 years.  Recently Frooties have been playing with Animal Prufrock formerly of Bitch and Animal.

Oh yeah!  And David Bowie was my first boyfriend (((IN MY MIND)))
